On the heights beside the road,
at the crossroads, there she stands,

“To you, O men, I call;
to the children of mankind I direct my voice.

O simple ones, gain prudence;
O fools, understand in your heart.

Listen, for I will speak noble things,

All the words of my mouth are righteous;
