Is there anyone among you who, when he has a dispute with another, dares to seek justice before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?

Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the judgment of the world is in your hands, are you not able to handle matters of little account?

Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more, then, the ordinary matters of our daily life.

If then you must deal with ordinary matters, do you appoint those who are of no account in the church to settle them?

I say this to shame you. Is there not among you one wise enough to settle matters between his brothers?

Do not be deceived! The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, effeminate men, men who practice homosexuality,

All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not let myself be brought under the power of anything.
