By the mercy of God we have received this ministry. Therefore we do not lose heart.

But we have renounced the hidden things of shame; we do not walk in craftiness and do not falsify the word of God. On the contrary, we make the truth plain, and so we commend ourselves to every person’s conscience before God.

If the gospel we proclaim is still veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,

that is, to those who do not believe, whose minds have been blinded by the god of this age, so that they do not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
