Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing so some have entertained angels without knowing it.

Remember those who are in prison, as though you yourselves were in prison with them; and remember those who are mistreated, since you yourselves also are still living in the world.

Let marriage be held in honor by all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.

Keep your life free from the love of money, and be content with what you have. For God has said, “I will never leave you, nor will I ever forsake you.”

So we may confidently say:
“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me?”

Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who must give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.

Pray for us continually; for we are sure that we have a good conscience, desiring to live honorably in all things.

And especially I urge you to do this, so that I may be restored to you the sooner.

Now may the God of peace, who by the blood of the everlasting covenant brought back from among the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus,

equip you with everything good to do His will, and work in us what is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ. To Him be glory forever and ever! Amen.

And I urge you, brothers and sisters, to receive these words of exhortation with a willing heart, even though my letter to you is brief.
