all the valiant men arose and went to take the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons. They brought them to Jabesh and buried their bones under the great tree in Jabesh. Then they fasted seven days.

So Saul died for his unfaithfulness to the LORD, because he did not keep the word of the LORD, and also because he had sought counsel from a medium,
