Then Moses assembled all the congregation of Israel and said to them, “These are the words that the LORD has commanded to be done.
2
Six days work shall be done, but on the seventh day there shall be a holy rest for you, a sabbath, a complete day of rest to the LORD; whoever does any work on it shall surely be put to death.
3
You shall not kindle a fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day.”

Moses said to all the congregation of Israel, “This is the word that the LORD has commanded, saying:

Take from among you an offering for the LORD; whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it as an offering to the LORD: gold, silver, bronze,
6
blue cloth, purple cloth, scarlet cloth, fine linen, goats’ hair;
7
ram skins dyed red, dolphin skins, acacia wood,
8
oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense,
9
onyx stones and stones for setting, for the ephod and for the breastpiece.
10
Let every skilled person among you come and make all that the LORD has commanded:
11
the tabernacle, its tent covering and its outer covering, its clasps, its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its bases;
12
the ark with its poles, the mercy seat, and the veil of the screen;
13
the table with its poles, all its utensils, and the bread of the Presence;
14
the lampstand for the light, with its utensils, its lamps, and the oil for the light;
15
the altar of incense with its poles, the anointing oil and the fragrant incense; and the curtain for the door at the entrance of the tabernacle;
16
the altar of burnt offering with its bronze grating, its poles, and all its utensils, the basin with its stand;
17
the hangings of the court, its pillars, its bases, and the curtain for the gate of the court;
18
the pegs of the tabernacle, the pegs of the court, and their cords;
19
the garments for ministering in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons for serving as priests.”
20
Then all the congregation of Israel departed from before Moses.
21
Afterward everyone whose heart stirred him, and everyone whose spirit moved him, came and brought an offering to the LORD for the work of the tent of meeting, for all its service, and for the holy garments.
22
So they came, both men and women, everyone whose heart moved them, bringing nose rings, earrings, signet rings, and pendants, all kinds of gold articles; and everyone who presented an offering of gold to the LORD.
23
And every one who had blue, purple, scarlet, fine linen, goats’ hair, rams’ skins dyed red, and dolphin skins, brought them.
24
Everyone who would present a special offering of silver or bronze brought the LORD’s special offering; and everyone who had acacia wood brought it also for all the work of the setting up.
25
Every skilled woman spun with her hands and brought what she had spun: blue, purple, scarlet, and fine linen.
26
All the women whose hearts stirred them because of their skill spun the goats’ hair.
27
The leaders brought onyx stones and stones for setting for the ephod and for the breastpiece,
28
and spices and oil for the light, for the anointing oil, and for the fragrant incense.
29
All the men and women whose hearts moved them to bring anything for all the work that the LORD had commanded through Moses to be done—the Israelites brought it as a freewill offering to the LORD.
30
Then Moses said to the Israelites, “See, the LORD has called by name Bezalel son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,
31
and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, understanding, and knowledge in every kind of work,
32
to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze;
33
to cut stones for setting, to carve wood, and to work in every kind of crafted work.
34
And the LORD has put in his heart, and in the heart of Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach.
35
He has filled them with skill to do every kind of work of an artisan, of a skilled worker, of an embroiderer in blue, purple, scarlet, and fine linen, and of a weaver, as workers and designers of every kind of work.
