Often we want prayer answers to come instantly. We hope God will make a way in a matter of minutes or days. Yet in reality, God often works through a process, step by step, not straight to the final result.
For example, Joseph received a great dream from God, but he had to go through years filled with suffering before that dream was fulfilled. From being sold by his brothers, falsely accused, imprisoned, and finally becoming a ruler in Egypt. God did not give him that position immediately, because there was character formation that had to happen first.
The process does not mean God is silent. In fact, in the process, God is preparing our hearts, sharpening perseverance, and strengthening our faith. Like a seed that is planted, it must go through a hidden season in the soil before it can grow and bear fruit.
Sometimes Godโs answer comes not in the form of โyesโ or โnoโ, but in the form of โwait and growโ. And in that waiting season, we learn to trust that Godโs timing is always right.
Believe that God knows the best order for our lives. If we force a shortcut, we may arrive sooner, but we may not yet be ready to receive the blessing. God wants us to be ready spiritually, emotionally, and mentally when that answer comes.
God, thank You because You do not only give answers, but also prepare me to receive them. Teach me to be patient, to trust Your timing, and to value every process You allow. Amen.
