God Cares More Than We Realize

Often we feel alone in facing life.

When problems come one after another, prayers feel silent, and answers have yet to arrive, our hearts begin to ask: Does God really care? However, God’s word repeatedly shows that God’s care is far greater than we can imagine.

Jesus Himself reminds His disciples in Matthew 6:26: โ€œLook at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.

“Are you not much more valuable than the birds?” If even the little birds are cared for, how much more us who are created in His image.

One reason we often doubt God’s care is because we equate His love with quick answers to prayer. However, God’s way of working is sometimes different from our way of thinking. He does not always give us what we want, but He always gives us what we need.

Isaiah 55:8-9 affirms, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways.”

God’s care is also evident in small matters. Psalm 56:9 says, “You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your book?” Imagine, every tear that falls is noticed by God. This is proof that no detail in our lives is too trivial for Him.

Jesus also showed His care when Lazarus died. Even though He knew Lazarus would be raised, Jesus still wept with those who mourned (John 11:35). This means, God cares not only about the solution but also about our feelings during the process.

Perhaps right now we feel that our prayers are not heard.

However, God’s word says in 1 Peter 5:7: “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” God’s care is evident not because circumstances immediately change, but because our hearts are strengthened and we never walk alone.

God cares more than we think. He sees wounds invisible to humans, He hears the unspoken cries of the heart, and He works even when we are unaware of it.

Lord, thank You because You care for me so much, more than I realize. Forgive me when I often doubt Your love. Teach me to trust that You are always present, sustaining, and strengthening me in every step of my life. Amen.
