(21-2) O LORD, in Your strength the king rejoices; how greatly he exults in Your salvation!

(21-3) You have granted him the desire of his heart, and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah

(21-4) For You meet him with rich blessings; You set a crown of fine gold upon his head.

(21-5) He asked life of You; You gave it to him, length of days forever and ever.

(21-6) Great is his glory through Your salvation; majesty and splendor You bestow upon him.

(21-7) For You make him most blessed forever; You fill him with joy in Your presence.

(21-8) For the king trusts in the LORD, and through the steadfast love of the Most High he shall not be moved.

(21-9) Your hand will find out all Your enemies; Your right hand will find out those who hate You.

(21-10) You will make them as a blazing furnace when You appear, O LORD. The LORD’s wrath will consume them, and fire will devour them.

(21-11) You will destroy their offspring from the earth, and their descendants from among the children of men.

(21-12) Though they intend evil against You and devise plots, they will not prevail.

(21-13) For You will make them turn back; with Your bowstrings You will aim at their faces.

(21-14) Be exalted, O LORD, in Your strength! We will sing and praise Your power.
🕊️🙏📖 Summary of Psalm 21 – “Thanksgiving for the King’s Victory”
Psalm 21 is a song of thanksgiving to God for the king’s victory and success, believed to be David. It continues Psalm 20, which was a prayer before battle. Now victory has come, and the people sing thanks for God’s help and blessing upon their leader.
The king is not only delivered, but also given glory, long life, and joy in the presence of God. In contrast, the enemies of God will be brought low by His presence. This psalm closes with a call to praise and a confession of God’s power.
📌 1. The King’s Joy in God’s Help (verses 1–7)
➡️ The king rejoices because of the strength and salvation from God
➡️ God grants all his requests, gives him a crown of gold, long life, and glory

➡️ The hand of God will reach His enemies and consume them like a fiery furnace
