And I heard a loud voice from within the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God upon the earth.”

So the first angel went and poured out his bowl upon the earth; and harmful and painful sores came upon all who bore the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image.

And the second angel poured out his bowl upon the sea, and its water became blood, like the blood of a dead man, and every living thing that was in the sea died.

And the third angel poured out his bowl upon the rivers and the springs of water, and they all became blood.

And I heard the angel in charge of the waters say:

“Righteous are You, You who are and who were, You Holy One,
for You have judged these things.

For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets,
so You have given them blood to drink;
it is their due!”

And I heard the altar say:

“Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and just are Your judgments.”

And the fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and it was given to it to scorch people with fire.

And people were scorched by the fierce heat, and they blasphemed the name of God, who has authority over these plagues, and they did not repent to give Him glory.

And the fifth angel poured out his bowl upon the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness, and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain,

and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pain and because of their sores, but they did not repent of their deeds.

And the sixth angel poured out his bowl upon the great river, the Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way might be prepared for the kings who come from the east.

And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

These are spirits of demons, performing signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for battle on the great day, the day of God Almighty.

“Look, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps his garments, so that he may not go about naked and be seen in shame.”

And they gathered them at the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.

And the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air. And from within the temple a loud voice came from the throne, saying, “It is done.”

Then there were flashes of lightning, and peals of thunder, and there was a great earthquake, such as had not occurred since human beings were on the earth. So mighty was that earthquake.

The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations that did not know God fell. And God remembered Babylon the great, to give her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of His wrath.

And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

And great hail, weighing a hundred pounds, fell from heaven upon people, and people blasphemed God because of the plague of hail, for that plague was very severe.

📖 Revelation 16 – The Seven Bowls of God’s Wrath Are Poured Out

🎺 Verse 1 – The Command from Heaven

“Go and pour out the seven bowls of God’s wrath upon the earth.”

• A loud voice from the heavenly Temple commands the seven angels to begin the judgment.
• This is the final judgment, coming directly from the presence of God.

☠️ 1. First Bowl – Evil Sores (v. 2)

“…evil and harmful sores came upon the people who bore the mark of the beast…”

• Those who worship the Antichrist and receive his mark are struck with painful skin afflictions.
• Only those loyal to the world system are judged at this stage.

🌊 2. Second Bowl – The Sea Becomes Blood (v. 3)

“The sea became blood like the blood of a dead man…”

• The whole sea turned to blood → every sea creature died.
• This is a total ecological disaster that signifies judgment on sea wealth and trade.

🚰 3. Third Bowl – Rivers and Springs Become Blood (v. 4–7)

“You are just… because they have shed the blood of the saints…”

• Fresh water also became blood.
• The angel of the waters declares: This judgment is just, because those who sinned have killed God’s people.

☀️ 4. The Fourth Bowl – The Sun Scorches People (vv. 8–9)

“…people suffered intense heat, yet they did not repent…”

• The sun was commanded to scorch people with fierce fire.
• People’s response? They cursed God and refused to repent.

🕳️ 5. The Fifth Bowl – Darkness over the Beast’s Throne (vv. 10–11)

“The kingdom of the beast became dark…”

• Supernatural darkness covered the kingdom of Antichrist.
• People bit their tongues because of pain, yet they still did not repent.

🌊 6. The Sixth Bowl – The Euphrates River Dries Up (vv. 12–16)

“To prepare the way for the kings from the east…”

• The Euphrates dried up → opening the way for the coalition of eastern kings toward Armageddon.
• Three unclean spirits like frogs (the devil, the beast, the false prophet) came out to deceive the nations and gather them for war against God.

🏔️ Location: Harmagedon (v. 16)

• This word means “Mount Megiddo” → a symbolic place of the final battle between good and evil.

⚡ 7. The Seventh Bowl – Earthquake and Great Hail (vv. 17–21)

“It is finished!”

• A voice from the Temple declares the end of God’s judgment.
• The greatest earthquake in human history shakes the whole earth.
• The great city is split (Babylon), and islands and mountains disappear.
• Great hailstones (about 50 kg each) fell from the sky.
• People still blasphemed God.
