“To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.”
(Ecclesiastes 3:1)
Waiting can be one of the hardest things in life. We have plans, prayers, and hopes that all seem so logical and “on time” according to our calendar. But often, God does not answer as quickly as we want. He seems silent.
Yet, in His silence, God is actually at work. He is never late, nor is He ever rushed. His timing is always perfect.
Look at Joseph’s life. He received a great dream from God, but had to go through the pit of betrayal, Potiphar’s house, and prison before finally entering the palace. All of that took time. If Joseph had been rushed, his character might not have been ready. If delayed longer, he might have lost momentum. But God knew the right time: just when Egypt needed a wise leader, Joseph was raised up.
We often ask, “When, Lord?” But the best answer we can hold onto today is: “God knows best.” Maybe not today. Maybe not in the way we think. But when His time comes, everything will be clear, beautiful, and just right.
Believe that waiting in God is not wasted time. It is a time of formation. And when His time arrives, nothing can stop His plan from being fulfilled in your life.
