Psalm 130 is the eleventh Song of Ascents, also known as one of the “Penitential Psalms”.
This psalm is a cry of the soul from the depths of despair toward hope, showing how confession of sin and waiting for the Lord’s forgiveness become the doorway to salvation and restoration.
📌 1. A Cry from the Depths (verses 1–2)
➡️ “Out of the depths I cry to You, O LORD.”
