And I saw: behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred forty-four thousand, and on their foreheads were written His name and the name of His Father.

And I heard a sound from heaven, like the roar of many waters and like the crash of mighty thunder. And the sound I heard was like the sound of harp players playing their harps.

They sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders, and no one could learn that song except the one hundred forty-four thousand who had been redeemed from the earth.

These are the ones who did not defile themselves with women, for they are pure as virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. They were redeemed from among men as firstfruits for God and for the Lamb.

And in their mouth no lie was found; they are without blemish.

And I saw another angel flying in midheaven, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and language and people,

and he cried out with a loud voice: “Fear God and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth and sea and the springs of waters.”

And another angel, a second one, followed him and said: “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who has made all nations drink the wine of the passion of her immorality.”

And another angel, a third one, followed them, and said with a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,

he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, poured full strength into the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.

And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest day or night, those who worship the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.”

Here is the perseverance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

And I heard a voice from heaven saying: Write: “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them.”

And I saw: behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat one like the Son of Man, with a golden crown on His head and a sharp sickle in His hand.

Then another angel came out of the temple; and he cried with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud: “Swing Your sickle and reap, for the hour to reap has come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.”

And He who sat on the cloud swung His sickle over the earth, and the earth was reaped.

Then another angel came out of the temple in heaven; he also had a sharp sickle.

And another angel came from the altar; he had authority over the fire, and he cried with a loud voice to the angel who had the sharp sickle, saying: “Swing your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for its grapes are ripe.”

So the angel swung his sickle over the earth, and gathered the clusters of the vine of the earth and threw them into the great winepress, the wrath of God.

And the grapes were trodden in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress, up to the horses’ bridles, for a distance of two hundred miles.

📖 Revelation 14 – The Final Harvest & Three Warning Angels

🐑 1. The Lamb and the 144,000 (vv. 1–5)

“I saw: behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and with Him 144,000…”

• The Lamb = Jesus Christ.
• 144,000 people = a group of faithful believers, sealed (compare Revelation 7).
• They have the name of the Lamb and the name of His Father on their foreheads, a sign of God’s ownership (in contrast to the mark of the beast, Revelation 13).
• They:

  • Do not defile themselves.

  • Follow the Lamb wherever He goes.

  • No lie is found in them; they are blameless.

🔔 This is a picture of the victory and spiritual purity of believers who remain faithful to the end.

👼 2. Three Angels Give Warning (vv. 6–13)

👼 First Angel: The Eternal Gospel

“Fear God and give Him glory…”

• Announces the gospel to every nation.
• Reminds the world that the judgment has come.
• A call to worship the Creator, not the creation.

👼 Second Angel: The Fall of Babylon

“Fallen, fallen is Babylon…”

• Babylon symbolizes a corrupt, materialistic, and sinful world system.
• Its fall is a warning that evil will not last forever.

👼 Third Angel: Warning to Worshipers of the Beast

“If anyone worships the beast and its image… he will drink the wine of God’s wrath.”

• A stern warning for those who follow the world’s system and reject God.
• Punishment: pain, fire, and sulfur, without end.
• This describes eternal punishment for the wicked.

✝️ 3. The Patience of the Saints (vv. 12–13)

“Here is the perseverance of the saints…”

• They keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
• Blessed because they die in the Lord — now they rest from their labors, and their deeds follow them.

🌾 4. The Harvest at the End of the Age (vv. 14–20)

🌾 Grain Harvest – The Harvest of the Righteous (vv. 14–16)

“Put in your sickle and reap…”

• Jesus is pictured with a golden crown and a sharp sickle.
• This portrays the harvest of saved souls.

🍇 Grape Harvest – The Judgment of the Wicked (vv. 17–20)

“Put in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes…”

• The grapes are thrown into the winepress of God’s wrath.
• Blood flowed for 1,600 stadia (± 300 km) – a symbol of severe judgment.

This is the final warning and an invitation to choose: follow the Lamb or the beast.
