speak in your heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah

Psalm 4 is a night prayer written by David when he was facing pressure and reproach from people who doubted him and his faith in God. In this psalm, David cries out to God, calls the people to seek the LORD, and shows that true peace comes only from the presence of God — not from worldly success or wealth.
Amid slander and turmoil, David remains calm because he knows that God hears his prayer. He chooses to rest in peace, not because the situation has changed, but because God is present.
