Psalm 47 is a royal song of praise from the sons of Korah, full of joy and majesty. This psalm declares that the Lord is King over all the earth, not only over Israel. All nations are invited to clap their hands and shout praise to the Lord, for He rules, is just, and is worthy to be exalted.
This is a universal psalm, filled with messianic hope and a vision of God’s global and everlasting rule.
📌 1. A Call to Praise All Nations (verses 1–2)
