Then Bildad the Shuhite answered:

“Dominion and dread are with Him, who makes peace in His high places.

Can His armies be numbered? And upon whom does His light not rise?
4
How then can man be righteous before God? And how can he that is born of a woman be clean?
5
Behold, even the moon is not bright in His sight, and the stars are not pure in His eyes.
6
How much less man, who is a maggot, and the son of man, who is a worm!”
🌌🪞⚖️ Summary of Job 25 – “Man Is Not Pure Before God”
Job 25 is the shortest chapter in the book of Job, containing only 6 verses, yet it is full of great theology about God’s holiness and human frailty.
This chapter is Bildad’s final speech, and its main point is: man is not worthy before God.
Yet, though true in a theological sense, Bildad’s statement is not directly fitting to Job’s situation, because he ignores Job’s pain and reduces suffering to unworthiness.
📌 1. The Greatness of God Cannot Be Denied (verses 1–3)

- The Lord has power over every kingdom
- Peace is under His rule
- No one can number His hosts
