Genesis

The Book of Genesis is the first book in the Bible that contains the origin of all things: the creation of the world, humanity, sin, and the beginning of God's relationship with mankind. This book also records the history of the patriarchs of faith—Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph—who are the foundation of the nation of Israel. Its main message is that God is the sovereign Creator who is faithful to His promises.
